SDSU names 2007 Eminent Farmers and Homemakers

South Dakota State University named two eminent homemakers and two eminent farmers for 2007 during a banquet held on campus Sept. 14. Honored were Rita and Hugh Barnett, Brookings, Jan Rasmussen, Belvidere, and David Stenberg, Colman.

Rita Barnett and Rasmussen were named eminent homemakers. Hugh Barnett and Stenberg were named eminent farmers. The Barnetts are the first couple to be honored with eminent farmer and eminent homemaker awards in the same year.
