Willis Named Head of Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences

David Willis, distinguished professor of fisheries science, has been named head of the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. Willis has been at SDSU since 1987. He received tenure in 1991 and full professorship in 1995. Over his career, he has presented hundreds of professional papers and received funding for nearly 60 contracts or grants for his research, totalling nearly $6 million.
