Three ABS Faculty Receive F.O. Butler Foundation Awards

Three ABS College faculty members received F.O. Butler Foundation awards during the Dec. 15, 2007, SDSU commencement. The awards recognize exceptional performance in service at the University.
Alvaro Garcia, Extension dairy specialist and associate professor of dairy science, received his award for excellence in service by a faculty member.
Bonny Specker, Chair of the Ethel Austin Martin Program in Human Nutrition and a professor in three departments, including the ABS departments of Biological Sciences and Animal and Range Sciences, received her award for excellence in research.
Lan Xu, assistant professor of biology and microbiology, received her award for excellence in teaching.
